Project Description: Aguirre & Associates is the survey and mapping subconsultant to NCTD for this as-needed contract. The primary on-call duties are for the Oceanside-Escondido "Sprinter" Passenger Rail project. We are responsible for the primary project control survey, and right-of-way surveys and mapping for the 21.7 mile Escondido Branch main line and 1.8-mile loop passenger rail project. Tasks include preparation of legal descriptions and plat exhibits for permanent and temporary acquisition of property, surveying encroachments into NCTD right-of-way and preparation of encroachments plats for Distract use. Tasks also include staking proposed right-of-way acquisitions for property owner inspections.
